Lloyd C. Sharp, 82, of Peoria, formerly of Canton, passed away at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Rosewood Care Center in Peoria.
Lloyd was born on November 19, 1930 in Streator, the son of Harlan “Jack” and Sarah (Porch) Sharp. They preceded him in death, along with one aunt, Helen Porch.
He is survived by his aunt, Bernice (the late R.L.) Porch of Rapatee; uncle, Stanley (Marcie) Porch of Crestwood; and a host of cousins.
Lloyd was last employed at the Fulton County Rehabilitation Center in Canton.
Private graveside services and interment will be at Belle Plain Baptist Cemetery in rural Toluca.
The family would like to thank the staff of Rosewood Care Center in Peoria for the wonderful care they provided to Lloyd.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
